I live in the beautiful, leafy Sutherland Shire in NSW, surrounded by national park.
It’s peaceful and grounding, a great place to reset and reflect.
I share life with my partner Keryn and her teenage daughter.
My own son lives nearby and spends loads of time here too. The kids definitely keep us on our toes.
I originally followed the family path into the Army, which took me all over, then shifted into Correctional Services where I wore a lot of different hats, especially in training roles.
When my last job ended unexpectedly, it turned out to be one of those “hidden blessings.”
That’s when I jumped into an online business in Personal Development and I haven’t looked back!
The better I performed, the more I was loaded with, without the reward to match.
THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I’ve genuinely loved every step of my career, from joining the Army at 17 to taking on roles like cook, PT instructor, weapons trainer, and even a stint in Egypt.
After leaving the defense force, I tried a few different things, real estate, the automotive industry and working in a call center, trying to find my place in the “real world.”
Eventually, I found my feet in Correctional Services and held a bunch of rewarding roles.
But like many big systems, the better you do, the more you get piled on, without the pay to match.
I call it “Performance Punishment”.
The hours kept creeping up, and I started feeling more like a number than a person.
That’s when I knew I needed a new direction, something with more freedom and meaning, so I stepped into the world of Personal Development.
WHEN I KNEW IT WAS TIME FOR A CHANGE: I’d spent years in roles where I had all the responsibility and workload of a business owner, but none of the rewards.
I was always working for someone else, under their rules, chasing their goals.
Don’t get me wrong, I gave it everything I had, but at some point, I realised I was pouring all that effort into building someone else’s success.
I was ready to make decisions that would actually shape my own life, not just fit into someone else’s.
I wanted to be in control of where I lived, how long I stayed, and to create the flexibility to travel and live life on my terms.
Most of all, I was ready to create real impact, on my own future and for the people around me.
THE MOMENT IT ALL CLICKED: Even though I’d spent years as a trainer, working in roles that focused on development, I never truly got Personal Development—not in the way I do now.
Things started to shift when I began working in spaces centered around diversity, inclusion, and what real empowerment actually looks like.
I found myself inspired by the idea of helping people become the best version of themselves, not just physically or professionally, but in how they show up in life.
I was already passionate about upskilling others, but now I saw a way to do it on a whole new level.
That’s when I came across a website, kind of like the one you’re on now, and something about it struck a chord.
I put in my details, took the first step, and I haven’t looked back since.

It’s a complete shift from anything I’ve done before—a real dynamic change.

Now, I’m on the other side of that decision, working in a space where mindset and growth are part of the everyday, and I’m fully supported to succeed.
